Electioneering/Wearing Campaign Paraphernalia:
A voter wearing campaign or issue buttons, stickers or shirts is NOT electioneering and is permitted into the polling place and within 100 feet of the entrance and exit as long as the voter does not linger in the polling place after he/she has vote. RUMOR CONTROL
Mission Statement
The mission of the Prince George's County Board of Elections is to promote voter education, to administer an efficient voting process, to maintain an accurate voter registration database, and to ensure that elected officials are elected in accordance with Federal, State, and County election laws.

Absentee Ballot
General Election
The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the General Election is as follows:
If the application is mailed, 4:30 p.m. on October 28, 2008; or
If the application is faxed, 11:59 p.m. on October 28, 2008.
After the deadline, a Late Application for Absentee Ballot must be completed in person at the Board of Elections by November 4, 2008@ 8:00 p.m.
